Hello
If you have come to this site seeking The Laser, Optics And Holography
Ring (LOHR), please read on.
Over 18 months ago, the WebRing organisation had placed
'The Laser, Optics And Holography Ring' WebRing into an 'Adoptable' status. For well over 12 months,
it has been argued with WebRing management of the problem, for which they had
taken no action and simply ignored requests to return the management
control back to me. WebRing refused to reset the status, and multiple
attempts to obtain the WebRing through the adoption process,
failed. Throughout the process, many people involved in the
webring community tried to assist (by adopting the webring for which
they would then return control back to me).. unfortunately, no one was
able to successfully adopt the WebRing... The WebRing was deliberately
left in an 'Adoptable' status of well over 12 months by the WebRing
Organisation.
Part of the argument was for the fact that the IDs were tied back to the
company, we also made requests to remove these, again Webring did not
want to know about it!.
The WebRing Organisation has become unethical and simply profit driven -
typical of today's greedy organisations. Sadly, The WebRing has been
destroyed in the process
I was part of the original WebRing when it was a community of webmasters
seeking to offer a better means of sharing resources and information to
the internet community, it was these Webmasters that did the work.
Recently, The WebRing was adopted out to 'manateemedia' (Redline Lasers)
Several attempts to contact Redline failed, as they failed to respond to
my emails. We now consider Redline also as unethical, and will make this
known to others. Failure to respond to emails of such special requests /
request for assistance is taken as a refusal to
not work with clients and people in the community and industry, as such
we do not have respect for such people.
We do not support the actions of both WebRing and also RedLine. Due to the very unethical practices that are now
embedded in Webring.com, we no longer support and endorse the Webring.
The Laser, Optics And Holography Ring was designed to provide the
community a learning resource for these devices... Now, along with many
other great resources, these resources have been destroyed due to greed,
political and unethical practices.
I would like to extend thanks to the many of the other webring owners
who tried to assist me in getting the webring back.
NightLase Technologies (Webring Host Support), no longer support The
Laser, Optics, And Holography Ring as part of the WebRing organisation,
nor will be affiliated with any references to WebRing and its devices.
NightLase Technologies retain copyright on the title 'The Laser, Optics
And Holography Ring', LOHR, associated texts and images original to the
Laser, Optics And Holography Ring.
Further Note, Redline Lasers are in breach of copyright for any use of
the terms, 'Nightlase' (used as part of the Ring ID), 'The Laser, Optics
And Holography Ring', LOHR, and associated texts and images original to
The Laser, Optics And Holography Ring. Further more, it has been noted
that Redline lasers have decided to maintain the original title and
description of the WebRing without request for permission, as follows:
The Laser, Optics and
Holography webring brings together the resources of these wonderful
devices, and their applications. Some of the sites which will feature on
this ring, will provided invaluable information into the world of
Lasers, how they work, how to build a laser, produce holograms and much
more. This WebRing is continuously expanding with new sites and
resources from around the world. Have Fun, and remember; 'Lasers Rule'
Only further action is that the parties involved will realise through a
guilty conscience, and unethical practices, and that others will be
aware of these practices they take and this will continue to plague on
them like a cancer... eating away at their reputation.
Thank you for your time.
